I started Wonderkind

I started Wonderkind  three years ago in February 2020. It was my first time working in advertising after spending most of my career in sales and consulting.  We started as a a team of about 30 twentysomething women working out of a house filming content for food and beverage brands. Then, our work began to spread on social media and by word of mouth, and we blew up. Today, we service over 200 consumer brands in design, photography, and social media. When we first started, Wonderkind was made up of the exact target audience of a lot of brands — Gen Z and millennials. Normally at advertising agencies the people are a little bit older and it's a bit more stuffy. But, we were just young girls on these calls with brands, and they were happy to work with that energetic youthful mindset.

Once, after a childhood

Once, after a childhood  music teacher sneered at her pawn shop- bought violin, Phelps devoted hours of practice to earn first chair in the orchestra, she said in a 2019 TEDx Talk. “I poured my heart and soul into that violin because I saw it as an extension of who I wanted to be,” she said. “I took everything in my life like that violin,” she said, refusing satta live result to let others’ assumptions limit what she might achieve. Phelps later was selected into a magnet school, where she met two teachers who, she said, were “instrumental” in nurturing her passion for science. That love for experimentation and discovery prompted her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Tennessee State University and later enlist in the US Navy’s Nuclear Power School.
